Kind of easy to put together, going to use it as a food pantry
It's a good product for the price. It meets my needs, although I don't plan to push it with heavy use.
Fits my needs well
Based on other reviews, I was expecting it to be easier to assemble. It took close to two hours, and required some finessing of parts to make them fit properly. Fortunately, it's sheet metal, and I was able to bend some things until they fit well enough. Once assembled, it's a nice cabinet for the garage, and holds more than you'd think, since there are five shelves, four of which are adjustable. The final fit and finish could be better- the corner with the MetalTiger label is good (see picture), but the other corner is messed up (see picture). Also, I'd like the doors to stay firmly closed without having to lock it. The third picture shows the tops of the doors when they are closed but not locked. Perhaps some outward dimples at the top and bottom of the door to fit into holes in the frame would help the doors stay more firmly closed without having to lock the unit, which puts posts into holes at the top and bottom. Nitpicks aside, it's a solid garage cabinet.
I ordered this cabinet because I liked that the pegboard can be used as a shelf. This was pretty easy to assemble. Directions are fairly easy to follow. The manual is great but they do use colors for the different parts but they used dark colors. I think it would help if one part is dark and the other was a lighter color. Each part is labeled with letter as well as the packets with the screws and other parts. I ordered the Light Gray. It should be called Medium Gray. It’s definitely no light. Over all it was great. So great I just ordered yesterday a second cabinet. Now stop reading these reviews and go one, you’ll glad you did.
